WE PROVIDE CONTRACT LIFEGUARDS TO PRIVATE BEACHES IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA THAT DO NOT USE STATE, COUNTY OR CITY PERSONNEL.
GOLDEN STATE LIFEGUARDS OFFERS THE MOST PROFESSIONAL AQUATICS MANAGEMENT SERVICES THROUGHOUT SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA! Click Here!

Golden State Lifeguards was founded in 2006 by a group of professional lifeguard/medics who saw a need to raise the bar among private lifeguard providers in the Southern California region. Too often other providers send out extremely young and inexperienced lifeguards which are seen as very problematic and considered a huge liability. With ongoing economic turmoil, there has been a rise in the number of freelance lifeguards soliciting services on such websites as Craigslist and Backpage. Golden State Lifeguards works aggressively with community groups to raise awareness on the dangers of hiring freelance or inexperienced lifeguards. The company also works aggressively to promote drowning prevention in the southern California region.
Golden State Lifeguards has since raised the standards by which consumers and production companies now contract private lifeguard services. With liability at an all time high, clients want those who can provide the most professional level of care and those who have the experience of working in the 911 system as first responders. We have many years of event planning and logistics experience aimed at overall safety. We have raised and will continue to raise the bar in an industry that is not regulated and we continue to bolster our presence in the state of California. No other company has been able to duplicate the services we offer!
We are the preferred choice for film productions and event organizers in southern California. We have been recognized for our professionalism and our overall experience as aquatic safety specialists. From your first call to completion of your event, you will always receive the most comprehensive service from our senior staff. We do not cut corners and safety is our number one priority!
For the most professional and seasoned lifeguard/medics in California, you must call Golden State Lifeguards. Very few companies can rival our services.
Our staff are over 18 years of age or older, mature and professional at all times. Most of our staff are lifeguard/EMT’s, and lifeguard/paramedics currently working with agencies such as L.A City, L.A. County and Orange County fire departments. We have assembled the best of the best and that is exactly what our clients get. We continue to recruit members for our team who have the experience and know-how when it comes to getting the job done right. Why would you expect anything less?
When it comes to event and film set safety, Golden State Lifeguards never leaves any details out. We offer comprehensive solutions to meet any budget and any situation.
We do not subcontract individual providers or other companies for our jobs like our competitors. We are covered by HPSO liability insurance and California worker’s comp insurance. Additionally, our staff are required to carry additional individual malpractice insurance. You will not find another company that provides the high level of service or can offer the level of expertise that clients have come to expect from us. Additionally, we are a provider that has medical direction to ensure that all staff are rendering care according to all national, state and local standards.
We only provide the most mature and professional staff. Our personnel represent agencies such as LAFD, LACoFD and OCFA to name a few. Why take a chance with others?
